2019 Gold Nugget Days

As we clean off our boots, tie up the horses, and drag our floats from the debris, it's Gold Nugget Days 2019! Many have been asking, "are we having a Gold Nugget Days this year?"

YES is the answer! And yes, we are celebrating! With so much that has changed, our celebration of the discovery of our 54-pound nugget is being planned. Are you ready?

Your Gold Nugget Day's Incorporated, Gold Nugget Museums, are hosting the traditional Gold Nugget Days celebration in Paradise, CA! Despite the recent Camp Fire event and displacement of everything and everyone we hold dear, our board of directors has seen fit to host the first returning major event for 2019!

UPDATE April 22, 2019: "Will there be a Parade?" Yes indeed. General appreciations go out to our Paradise 7-11 Chapter of E Campus Vitus for seeing this activity through!
"After the Donkey derby a short but really cool unofficial gold nugget parade will happen from church to Indian dr. With Clampers, the queen, a few horsemen, maybe a few floats & the DEVIL MOUNTAIN BRIGADE too. This is to keep the Gold Nugget days tradition alive. I even know you can still get a pancake breakfast at the old magalia church sat am!!!! So tell a friend and bring a kid to the best day this town has had since November 7th."

Our Gold Nugget Days celebration will occur at the following locations: The Paradise Community Park (Main Celebration); Magalia Community Church Donkey Derby/Parade, Terry Ashe Receation Park (Craft Fair); Wine & Cheese fundraiser at The PLaCe; and a good old-fashioned Paradise Elks Hoedown at the Paradise Elks' new location!
