PARADISE POW WOW 2009

Emily Prosser Dedication

The Paradise Pow Wow will be held on Saturday and Sunday, July 11 and 12, 2009 at the Gold Nugget Museum. Native American Drum, Song and Dance highlight this event as well as basket weavers, local Native Artisans, beadwork, raffles and food booths.  
Profits from the Pow Wow go to the Katie Marie Prosser Memorial Scholarship Fund established for local Native American students pursuing a career in the medical field at Butte College.
No smoking, alcohol, drugs or pets are allowed at this event.
Hours are noon to 5:00 pm

Days of Living History

Each fall, the Gold Nugget Museum presents two days of living history for the community. As many as forty simultaneous events on the Museum grounds offer hands-on activities, demonstrations and recreations of 100 years of Paradise Ridge history to the delight and education of youngsters and grownups.
